"Hunt more, Spend less. Make a friend, Trade a Hunt!"
All you need to do is figure out where you'd like to hunt or fish and find an HT member in that region that is offering what you're looking for. You then build a friendship with that member and start hunting together by offering them a hunt or fishing trip in trade. If you don't have hunting or fishing trips to trade, look into services or products to offer them in trade. If you still don't think you have anything to trade them, simply offer friendship. You'd be surprised how far that can sometimes get you. All you really need to do is simply get to know them and the ideas for trade will come later, believe me. You simply work something out that makes you both happy. Remember, you don't have to have a hunt or fishing trip to trade either. You can barter your goods and services for what you are looking for in trade as well. This is also a great place to find somebody that will do some work for you on your place by simply offering them a hunt or fishing trip in the deal.
What do you mean by trading services?
Simple, let's say I own 200 acres of land and I can't seem to stay caught up on all the daily chores or tasks that need to be done for my Ranch/Farm to operate smoothly. I can get on HunTTrader and find hard working guys/gals to help me out around the place in trade for great hunting. These Ranchers/Farmers, Lease/Land owners need help from time to time, all the time. And the same rule applies to the members on the site that don't have land to hunt on. A group of 4 duck hunters can get together and offer a land-owning member their work and services (i.e. fixing fence, bailing hay, painting barns, breaking horses) in exchange for a great hunt. We're all family so help the family out and they'll make sure you have food to eat while you make sure they don't have to work as hard just getting by.
And yes, you can also TRADE Products and Merchandise!

How do I find trades that members have posted?
All you have to do is click on the tab labeled "ViewTrades" at the top of our Home Page and see what others have offered. You can then view trades that our members have posted. We will also have a tab for you to posTTrades. You will then find what you are looking for and contact that member!
How do I become a member of your PROSTAFF?
Prostaffers are members that are selected based on their region, participation, and their passion for the Outdoors. You do not have to be a professional hunter like Jim Shockey, Michael Waddell, or Bill Jordan, but.......We do need to see that you are going to promote family and the growth of HunTTrader through proactive participation on our site. You may request to be on our PROSTAFF by visiting our PROSTAFF Group or by emailing me at the address below.
How do I get a chapter started in my region so that we can start having group functions for members of HT where I live?
All you need to do is simply ensure that you have at least 100 members that are active members of HunTTrader in the region in which you live. We want you to have these group function (i.e. cook-outs, group hunts, banquets, fund-raisers, etc.) but there is cost and leadership involved with starting these Chapters so we need a strong member base in that region. This all starts with a group effort from our members with promoting "The HT Family". We will all grow and open up more opportunity for trades by promoting just that...the family!
For any other questions, please email us at htadmin@hunttrader.com and we'd be happy to respond to your inquiries.
Happy HunTTrading!

House projects have kept me busy and the heat and rains from Hurricane Alex haven't helped matters.
After a quick run to the ranch last night, I was pleasantly surprised to see lots of greenery and quite a few deer for it being 5 in the evening. About a dozen Whiteys, all does and fawns.
Also spotted 1 Coach Whip snake (about 3 ft).
After being disappointed with this year's turkey hunts, due to low populations, I was extremely pleased at seeing 2 h
